The Abaco Systems SBS ABI-PMC2-1 is a single-channel MIL-STD-1553 interface card designed for embedded systems that utilize the PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) form factor. This interface card is engineered to support system-level applications and is available in various configurations, including commercial, extended temperature, and conduction-cooled versions. The ABI-PMC2-1 allows for concurrent and independent operation as a Bus Controller (BC), one of 31 Remote Terminals (RTs), or a dual-function Bus Monitor (BM).

### Technical Specifications

* **MIL-STD-1553 Channels:** 1 or 2 channels (the ABI-PMC2-1 specifically refers to a single channel configuration, though the ABI-PMC2 series supports dual channels).
* **Functionality:**
* **Bus Controller (BC):** Supports programmable frame lists, BC-RT, RT-BC, and RT-RT message types, mode codes, broadcasts, and time delays. Both modes perform broad error monitoring and provide a comprehensive error table accessible by the host processor.
