Agilent/Keysight 6814B DC Power Supply

The Keysight 6814B is a single-phase AC power source and analyzer delivering 3000 VA of output power across a 150 V (20 A) low range and 300 V (10 A) high range. Operating from DC through 5 kHz, it generates arbitrary waveforms including sine, square, and user-defined signals, with integrated capability to simulate power line disturbances such as sag, surge, dropout, and clipping events. The instrument provides comprehensive power analysis including RMS voltage and current, real/reactive/apparent power, power factor, phase measurement, and harmonic analysis up to the 50th harmonic. Built-in harmonic distortion measurement and event programming enable complex power quality simulation. Voltage programming accuracy varies by frequency: 0.15% + 0.3 V at 45–100 Hz, 0.5% + 0.3 V at >100–500 Hz, and 1% + 0.3 V at >500–1000 Hz. Current programming accuracy is 1.2% + 50 mA. Voltage measurement resolution reaches 10 mV. Output voltage ripple and noise measure -60 dB relative to full scale, with 0.1% line regulation and 0.5% load regulation. Maximum THD specification is 0.25% at 50/60 Hz, rising to 1% worst-case at 45 Hz. Protection includes over-current, over-voltage, over-power, over-temperature, and RI/DFI safeguards with built-in output isolation relays. The instrument supports GPIB and RS-232 interfaces with SCPI programming, VXI plug&play drivers, and USB connectivity, enabling integration into automated test systems.
