The Keysight E8257DS10 is a millimeter-wave source module that extends the frequency capabilities of the E8257D or E8667D PSG signal generator (with Option 1EU) into the 75 GHz to 110 GHz band. This module delivers +5 dBm output power at 110 GHz via WR-10 waveguide flange, providing the frequency accuracy and resolution required for precision signal generation in aerospace, defense, and communications testing. The module accepts direct frequency control and display from the host PSG, inheriting its modulation capabilities including FM, PM, and pulse modulation. DC power is supplied entirely through the PSG source module interface, eliminating separate power requirements. Input power protection is built in. Two attenuator configurations are available: a manual variable attenuator (Option A25) or electronic attenuator (Option EA2) for flexible output level control across the operating band.
