The EXFO IQS-9100 Optical Switch is a high-speed fiber optic switch module designed for integration into EXFO’s IQS test platform. It simplifies multi-fiber testing by automating signal routing, allowing technicians to test multiple devices or paths without manual reconnections.

Supporting various port configurations (1×N or NxN), the IQS-9100 enables flexible network simulation and system validation. Its low insertion loss and repeatable switching performance ensure reliable optical signal integrity across thousands of cycles. This makes it particularly useful in automated production testing, R&D, and long-term network simulation environments.

Control is provided via EXFO’s software suite or remotely through GPIB or Ethernet, allowing for seamless integration into automated systems. The switch supports both singlemode and multimode fibers and offers precise control for fiber-to-fiber routing with minimal signal degradation.
