The Fujikura 22S is a compact fusion splicer engineered for field splicing of single-mode and multimode optical fibers. Weighing 1140 g and measuring 120 mm × 189 mm × 72 mm, it delivers active V-groove alignment technology for precise core alignment and low splice loss across multiple fiber types. The unit supports 100 splice modes and 30 heating modes, achieving typical splice times of 9 sec (SM FAST) and 11 sec (SM AUTO). A dual CMOS camera system with 4.73″ color LCD provides 132X standard magnification and 200X post-splice magnification for real-time monitoring and quality verification.
