The Vytran PTR-200 ARL 500µm Fiber Recoater is an automated system for applying UV-curable protective buffer coatings to optical fibers with integrated linear proof testing. The ARL module combines automatic recoating and linear proof test capability, using split quartz mold plates with anti-flash coatings and a volumetric pump for precise material dispensal. A pneumatic gripper assembly automates mold plate operation, enabling high-volume production workflows. The system applies recoat material in a circular cavity around the fiber, then cures using ultraviolet light.
