The EXFO FTB-100 is a compact, portable fiber optic test platform engineered for field deployment across LAN, metro, and long-haul networks. Built on a modular architecture, it accepts a full range of field-interchangeable EXFO OTDR modules, enabling configuration for specific network topologies and testing requirements. The platform delivers up to 128,000 data points per trace with sampling resolution as fine as 4 cm to 8 cm for precise fault location. A color touchscreen interface running Windows CE provides intuitive operation in demanding outside plant environments.

The FTB-100B platform is compatible with EXFO OTDR modules including the FTB-7000B Series, FTB-7000D, FTB-74234C-B, FTB-7534B-B-EI, and FTB-7523B-B-EI. OTDR modules support wavelengths from 850 nm to 1625 nm with dynamic ranges up to 45 dB and distance reach to 260 km. Modules are cross-compatible with the FTB-400 Universal Test System.
