The Agilent/HP 83485A is an optical plug-in module for the 86100A oscilloscope that extends measurement capabilities to high-speed optical communication signals. It combines one optical and one electrical channel to enable accurate waveform characterization and SONET/SDH compliance testing. The integrated optical input eliminates external cables and connectors, reducing mismatch loss and signal distortion.
