The Keysight MSOX6004A is a mixed-signal oscilloscope delivering 1 GHz base bandwidth, upgradeable to 6 GHz, with 4 analog and 16 digital channels for time-correlated analysis of complex embedded systems and high-speed digital signals. The instrument combines 20 GSa/s maximum sample rate (10 GSa/s across all channels), 4 Mpts memory depth, and over 450,000 waveforms per second update rate to reliably capture transient anomalies. A 12.1-inch capacitive multi-touch display with Zone Touch triggering enables rapid signal navigation and analysis. The 8-bit ADC achieves 12-bit measurement resolution with averaging, supporting input sensitivity from 1 mV/div to 5 V/div on 1 MΩ inputs and 1 mV/div to 1 V/div on 50 Ω inputs. Dual input impedance selection (1 MΩ ± 1% or 50 Ω ± 3%) accommodates both high-impedance and matched-load measurements. Vertical accuracy reaches ± 1.5% of full scale with noise floors of 115 µVrms at 1 mV/div (1 GHz) and 210 µVrms at 1 mV/div (6 GHz). Hardware bandwidth limits include 20 MHz and 200 MHz on both 1 MΩ and 50 Ω inputs, plus 1.5 GHz and 3 GHz on 50 Ω. Built-in serial protocol analysis, optional dual-channel arbitrary waveform generator, digital voltmeter, and 10-digit counter with totalizer eliminate the need for external instrumentation in debug and validation workflows.
