The Abaco Systems / Condor Engineering CONCEI-520 is a transition cable designed to connect various systems, particularly those utilizing ARINC protocols. This cable is associated with the CEI-520/520A ARINC Interface for PCI cards, enabling communication and data transfer within avionics systems. The CEI-520/520A itself is capable of supporting high data throughput, offering features such as on-board message scheduling, label filtering, multiple buffering options, time-tagging, and error injection/detection. It also provides avionics-level I/O discretes. Optional configurations include programmable receive level thresholds, adjustable transmit output voltages, and ruggedized versions for extended operating temperatures. The CONCEI-520 transition cable facilitates the connection from the CEI-520/520A’s rear Discrete I/O connector, which may utilize a CONM50-D37 or other IDC-50 ribbon connector, to a SCSI-3 connector.
