The Abaco Systems / Ramix CP237/DP is a 6U CompactPCI PMC carrier that expands system capabilities by hosting two standard PMC modules in a single chassis slot. This multipurpose carrier routes PMC I/O signals to J3 and J4 CompactPCI rear connectors, enabling seamless integration of peripheral modules into larger cPCI architectures. The card supports 64-bit PCI interfaces on both PMC slots and operates the secondary PCI bus at 66MHz when optional disk, Ethernet, and serial components are not populated.
The CP237/DP incorporates PICMG-compliant hot-insertion capability for mission-critical applications requiring minimal downtime. Optional features include Enhanced IDE/ATA disk controller supporting Solid State Drives up to 440 Mbyte capacity, FLASH storage for boot-time system drivers, 10/100Base-TX Ethernet, and RS232 serial connectivity.
