The Abaco Systems IP-Universal Serial is a single-wide IndustryPack module delivering dual high-speed multiprotocol serial communication interfaces. Each port independently supports EIA-232, EIA-422, and EIA-485 standards, enabling flexible connectivity across industrial and embedded platforms. The module uses dual Zilog Z16C30 Universal Multi-Protocol Serial Controllers (USC), each with four 32-byte FIFO buffers per channel to optimize throughput and stream management.
