The Abaco Systems / VMIC VMIVME-5565-110 is a Reflective Memory Node Card for VMEbus 6U Eurocard systems, enabling deterministic, low-latency data sharing across up to 256 independent nodes. Operating over an optical ring topology at 2.12 Gbaud serial speeds, the card delivers sustained network throughput up to 170 Mbyte/s with inter-node latency of 450–500 nanoseconds. Data transfer is software transparent, requiring no host processor intervention.
