The Abaco Systems / VMIC VMIVME-5588-110 is a high-speed fiber-optic reflective memory board for VMEbus systems delivering 1.2 Gbaud serial performance in real-time data sharing applications. The two-slot 6U board supports up to 256 independent nodes in a daisy-chained, fiber-optic ring topology, with data transfer rates of 29.5 Mbyte/s (standard) or 14.8 Mbyte/s (redundant transfer mode). On-board SRAM/SDRAM ranges from 256 Kbyte to 16 Mbyte with configurable addressing via A24:A32:D32:D16:D8 memory access.
