The Accretech/SBS SB-5512 is a control card designed for precision mechanical balancing within the modular SB-5500 Automatic Balancer System Controller. This all-digital electronic control board achieves balancing accuracy to 0.02 microns across spindle speeds from 300 to 30,000 RPM, enabling reduced setup time and enhanced component longevity in grinding wheel, dressing wheel, and spindle bearing applications. The SB-5512 integrates into the SB-5500 controller’s four-slot architecture and communicates via Profibus DP, Ethernet TCP/IP, USB 2.0, and opto-isolated CNC/PLC hardwire outputs. A detachable TFT LCD color display (480 × 272 pixels) provides real-time monitoring, with optional virtual screen software enabling remote observation.
