The Keysight 10468A is a 5V PECL clock pod module designed to interface pattern generator and logic analyzer systems with dedicated clock signal distribution. It provides ECL-compatible clock inputs and outputs, supporting frequencies up to 300 MHz with adjustable delay control. Each pattern generator module or 1682xA logic analyzer operating as a master requires one clock pod to enable synchronization and pattern recognition across the measurement system.
– Technical Specifications
• Clock Output: 10EL90 (5 V) topology with 348 Ω pulldown to ground and 42 Ω series impedance
• Clock Output Rate: DC to 300 MHz maximum
• Clock Output Delay: Maximum 11 ns, adjustable in 9 steps
• Clock Input: 100EL91 PECL (5 V), no termination required
• Clock Input Rate: DC to 300 MHz

– Key Features
• Single-pod configuration for one pattern generator module or one portable logic analyzer master
• Adjustable output delay in 9 discrete steps for timing alignment
• ECL/PECL logic levels throughout ensure compatibility with high-speed digital test systems
• No external termination needed on clock and pattern inputs
– Typical Applications
• Multi-module pattern generation systems requiring synchronized clock distribution
• Portable logic analyzer setups (1682xA series) with external timing references
• High-speed digital circuit characterization and functional testing
– Compatibility & Integration
Designed for the Keysight 16720A pattern generator module family. The Keysight 10498A lead set is required for connection and should be ordered concurrently with the 10468A.
