### Calibration and Usage

For optimal measurement accuracy, open, short, and load calibrations are recommended at the 7mm test port of the 16200B. When integrating with other instruments, connect the 16200B to the instrument’s 7mm test port. Subsequently, connect the test fixture to the 16200B and perform open, short, and electrical length compensations as per the instrument’s usual procedures. Short bars and 51 Ω SMD resistors, often furnished with the 16200B-001, can be used for short and load compensation, respectively.
