The Keysight 33150A is an 80 MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator employing direct digital synthesis to deliver stable, accurate signal generation across all waveform types. It generates sine, square, ramp, triangle, noise, and arbitrary waveforms with 1 µHz frequency resolution and supports advanced modulation including AM, FM, PM, FSK, and PWM. The instrument features a color graphical display for real-time waveform visualization and intuitive control.
– Technical Specifications
Arbitrary waveform generation delivers 12-bit vertical resolution across 64K point memory at 200 MSa/s sample rate, with repetition rates from 1 µHz to 25 MHz. Standard waveforms span sine and square outputs (1 µHz to 80 MHz), pulse generation to 50 MHz with variable edge times as low as 5.00 ns, ramp outputs to 1 MHz, and white noise with 50 MHz bandwidth. Sine wave spectral purity achieves harmonic distortion ≤ –60 dBc from DC to 1 MHz at amplitudes ≤ 3 Vpp, with total harmonic distortion < 0.2% + 0.1 mVrms in the DC to 20 kHz band. Spurious distortion measures –60 dBc from DC to 1 MHz. Squarewave rise/fall time is < 8 ns with overshoot < 5% and jitter (rms) of 0.01% + 525 ps below 2 MHz. Pulse waveforms exhibit < 5% overshoot and jitter of 100 ppm + 50 ps. Timebase accuracy is 2 ppm over one year (18 to 28 °C) or 3 ppm over one year (0 to 55 °C).
