Agilent/Keysight 44470D

The Agilent/Keysight 44470D is a 20-channel multiplexer module engineered for signal routing in test and measurement systems. Built around armature latching relays, it delivers sub-3 µV thermal offset per channel—critical for low-level signal applications. The module handles up to 2 A and 250 V per channel with less than 1 Ω closed-channel resistance, achieving scan rates exceeding 43 channels/second over a mechanical life of 10⁸ relay cycles.

Isolation Performance. DC isolation exceeds 10¹¹ Ω (channel-to-channel open), 5 × 10¹⁰ Ω (HI-LO and channel-chassis). AC capacitance remains below 7 pF (channel-to-channel), 27 pF (HI-LO), and 80 pF (channel-chassis) at 1 channel closed.

Signal Integrity. Insertion loss measures less than 0.20 dB at 100 kHz, 0.25 dB at 1 MHz, and 1.20 dB at 10 MHz (50 Ω termination). Crosstalk performance: better than -73 dB at 100 kHz, -53 dB at 1 MHz, and -31 dB at 10 MHz.

Switching Modes. Supports break-before-make operation and multiple-channels-close mode for simultaneous multi-channel routing.

Four-Wire Ohm Measurements. Two 44470D modules can be configured in card-pair mode for precision resistance measurement.
