The Agilent/Keysight 54701A is a 2.5 GHz active probe for high-frequency signal measurements on non-coaxial nodes. It delivers low loading and high impedance acquisition across high-speed digital design, RF characterization, and EMC testing workflows. The probe connects to any 50-Ω input instrument and draws power from the oscilloscope front panel or the optional 1143A Probe Offset Control and Power Module.

– Compatibility & Integration
The 54701A integrates directly with 54700 Series oscilloscopes via front-panel power connectors. For use with external 50-Ω instruments, the 1143A Probe Offset Control and Power Module supplies regulated power and offset voltage. Optional adapters include Type N(f) to APC 3.5(f) bulkhead (Option 001) for 54120 family compatibility, 11880A Type N(m) to probe tip adapter with 50-Ω termination, and 10218A BNC(m) to probe tip adapter.
Supplied accessories include Type N(f) to BNC(m) adapter, walking-stick ground lead, five probe tip sockets, replacement probe tips (one standard, two sharp), dual ground leads (4-in and 2-in), 200 Ω signal lead, mini-probe socket, and carrying case.
