Agilent/Keysight 8559A

The Agilent/Keysight 8559A is a high-performance spectrum analyzer plug-in module for integration with HP 853A or 180-series display mainframes. It delivers precise signal analysis across 0.01 to 21 GHz with eight selectable resolution bandwidths from 1 kHz to 3 MHz, amplitude measurement to -111 dBm, and frequency tuning accuracy to ±(1 MHz + 0.3% of center frequency) below 3 GHz. The instrument features coupled controls, automatic span and bandwidth adjustment, and direct dBm readouts for calibrated displays. Zero-span capability enables time-domain modulation analysis with residual FM below 2 kHz p-p. Designed for production, R&D, and field service environments.
