The Agilent/Keysight E1439C is a single-channel, C-size VXI digitizer module engineered for high-precision baseband and IF signal acquisition in RF communication and automated test equipment systems. Operating at 95 MSa/s with 12-bit resolution, it simultaneously captures baseband signals (DC–36 MHz) and 70 MHz IF signals, each with 36 MHz bandwidth and alias protection. The module delivers -90 dBfs spurious-free dynamic range, -132 dBfs/Hz noise density, and distortion performance below -62 dBc at full scale. Signal conditioning includes a programmable 36 MHz anti-alias filter and 17 digital decimation filters with 0.023 mHz tuning resolution and digitally tunable local oscillator. Memory architecture employs a FIFO buffer available in 144 MB, 288 MB, or 1.2 GB configurations, enabling continuous signal capture for up to 8 seconds at full sampling rate or 12 minutes with 1 MHz decimation. The E1439D variant extends capabilities with a 2.5 Gbit/sec optical front panel data port supporting 190 MB/sec continuous transfer and VXI local bus data paths to 50 MB/sec. Both variants integrate into VXI systems via VXIplug&play compatibility and support multiple trigger modes including immediate, level, external, and software sources.
