The Agilent/Keysight E3616A is a 60W single-output DC power supply for benchtop test and measurement applications. It delivers 0–35V at 0–1.7A with exceptional line and load regulation of <0.01% + 2mV in constant voltage mode. The unit operates in both CV and CC modes with automatic transition based on load conditions, providing continuously acting overload protection and adjustable overvoltage protection to safeguard connected devices.
Precise voltage and current adjustment is enabled through 10-turn potentiometers and remote analog programming via 0–10V inputs with 0.5% linearity. Output recovery following transient load changes occurs in <50 µsec to within 15mV. Ripple and noise measure <200 µV rms and <1 mV p-p across the 20 Hz to 20 MHz band. Remote sensing compensates for voltage drops up to 0.5V per lead with <0.5 ohm resistance per sense lead and <5 meters lead length.
