Agilent/Keysight E4416A

The Agilent/Keysight E4416A is a single-channel EPM-P series power meter delivering high-performance RF and microwave power measurements from 9 kHz to 110 GHz. This instrument measures peak power, peak-to-average ratio, average power, and time-gated power across predefined wireless formats including GSM, EDGE, NADC, iDEN, Bluetooth, IS-95 CDMA, W-CDMA, and cdma2000. With a 20 M samples per second sampling rate and measurement speeds up to 1,000 corrected readings per second via GPIB, the E4416A delivers fast, reliable results for manufacturing, R&D, and field service applications.

The meter spans a power measurement range of −70 dBm to +44 dBm (100 pW to 25 W), with selectable resolution from 1.0 dB down to 0.001 dB in logarithmic mode, or 1 to 4 significant digits in linear mode. Video bandwidth can be adjusted to High, Medium, Low, or OFF to optimize dynamic range for peak power measurements. Three measurement speed modes—normal, x2, and fast—provide flexibility for different test scenarios.
