The Agilent/Keysight E4417A is a dual-channel power meter for simultaneous peak, average, and peak-to-average ratio measurements across RF and microwave frequencies. Built for wireless communications manufacturing and R&D, it delivers fast corrected readings—up to 1,000 per second over GPIB with E-series E9320 sensors, or 40 readings per second in normal mode—and samples continuous wideband signals at 20 Msamples per second. The instrument includes time-gated and average power measurement modes, modulation bandwidth correction for complex formats such as CDMA and W-CDMA, and eight pre-defined wireless configurations spanning GSM, EDGE, NADC, iDEN, Bluetooth, IS-95 CDMA, W-CDMA, and cdma2000.
