Agilent/Keysight E8257DV06

The Keysight E8257DV06 is a millimeter-wave frequency extension module that expands compatible Keysight signal generators into the WR6.5 waveguide band. Operating from 110 GHz to 170 GHz, this Virginia Diodes Inc.–manufactured extender delivers +8 dBm output power while preserving the host generator’s frequency accuracy and resolution.

The module connects directly to Keysight E8257D PSG, E8267D PSG, N5183B MXG, or N5173B EXG signal generators via standard coaxial interfaces. Frequency control and readout occur directly on the host unit display—no separate tuning required. The extender supports pulse, FM, and phase modulation through the host generator’s modulation capabilities.
