The Keysight E8257DV15 is a millimeter-wave frequency extension module that expands Keysight signal generators into the WR15 waveguide band. Operating from 50 GHz to 75 GHz, this amplifier/multiplier chain (AMC) module delivers output power up to +20 dBm and integrates directly with E8257D PSG, E8267D PSG, N5183B MXG, or N5173B EXG generators while preserving their frequency accuracy and resolution.
The module accepts RF input at either standard 20 GHz or high-frequency 40/50 GHz configurations. Standard mode requires a coaxial jumper connection; high-frequency mode bypasses the first multiplier block for cleaner spectrum. Pulse, FM, and phase modulation capabilities transfer through the module, with TTL-controlled on/off modulation supported to approximately 1 kHz. The external 9V DC power supply is included.
