The Keysight L2065XT is a LAN-connected thermal vacuum (TVAC) compliant peak and average power sensor for RF and microwave device characterization. This diode-based sensor delivers real-time measurement speeds of 50,000 readings/sec across 10 MHz to 53 GHz, with variable sampling up to 1M samples/sec and 1M-sample memory capacity. It simultaneously captures up to 20 pulses per acquisition, enabling pulse-width measurement down to 250 ns with 50 ns sampling intervals. The instrument measures pulse duration, period, duty cycle, rise time, fall time, and modulated signals including 5G, LTE, LTE-Advanced (100 MHz bandwidth), and WLAN 802.11ac (80/160 MHz bandwidth). Zero dead-time architecture ensures continuous pulse capture without data loss. Average mode time-selectivity preserves full dynamic range for time-selective and conventional average power measurements. Internal zero and automatic calibration reduce setup time and measurement uncertainty. Designed for vacuum chamber operation, all components are selected for minimal outgassing and subjected to temperature cycling for material stabilization. The compact form factor (172 mm × 40 mm × 24 mm, 0.26 kg) with 2.4 mm male connector integrates directly into chamber-mounted test setups. LAN connectivity and included Keysight BenchVue software (BV0007B) enable remote instrument control, automated data logging, and SCPI-based measurement automation from external controllers or test systems.
