Agilent/Keysight M1971W

The Agilent/Keysight M1971W is a waveguide harmonic mixer that extends X-Series signal analyzer capability into the millimeter-wave band, enabling wideband signal analysis from 75 to 110 GHz. Designed for high-demand applications in 5G design, WiGig/11ad, automotive radar, and millimeter-wave backhaul, this un-preselected mixer delivers conversion loss of 27 dB maximum with improved DANL and TOI performance.

Intelligent automation accelerates test setup and enhances measurement fidelity. The mixer automatically detects its model and serial number, applies vector correction data (magnitude and phase), executes calibration when temperature or time drift occurs, and compensates LO amplitude for cable loss up to 10 dB. USB plug-and-play connectivity transfers amplitude correction and conversion loss data directly to the host analyzer.

• Auxiliary Equipment Path: User-defined IF frequency output to external equipment; designed for I/Q acquisitions exceeding internal instrument IF bandwidth limits
