Manufactured by Virginia Diodes, Inc. and branded as the Erickson PM5B, this instrument delivers accurate RF power characterization for research, development, and manufacturing environments. The meter integrates directly with Keysight VNA firmware via USB, enabling streamlined integration into existing test systems. Built-in calibration verification ensures measurement integrity throughout the instrument’s operational life. Primary applications include source power calibration of banded mmWave VNAs and output power measurement of banded mmWave signal sources—particularly those equipped with E8257DVxx VDI or E8257DSxx OML frequency extension modules. Optional waveguide taper accessories extend measurement capability to 1.5 THz, broadening applicability across higher frequency bands.
