The Keysight P5003A is a compact, two-port USB Vector Network Analyzer engineered for high-performance RF characterization from 9 kHz to 14 GHz. This portable instrument operates via external computer control and delivers measurement science identical to Keysight’s PNA and ENA series, ensuring consistent results and unified programming interfaces across platforms. The P5003A achieves 140 dB dynamic range, 0.0015 dB rms trace noise, and 10 dBm output power—performance metrics typically associated with benchtop systems in a streamlined form factor. Port expansion is supported through cascading with additional USB instruments, enabling multiport test configurations. The analyzer accepts all Keysight electronic calibration modules for rapid setup and integrates with a common software platform shared across Keysight VNAs. Optional software modules extend measurement capability to pulsed-RF analysis, fixture removal, time-domain characterization, noise figure measurement with vector correction, embedded local oscillator functionality, gain compression analysis, spectrum analysis, and multiport calibrated measurements. Supplied with USB 3.0 connectivity, external AC-DC power adapter, quick-start guide, and calibration certificate.
