The Keysight U2055XA is a USB-connected wide dynamic range average power sensor for precise RF power measurements from 10 MHz to 50 GHz (extendable to 53 GHz with Option 053). It delivers real-time measurement capability at up to 50,000 readings per second with zero dead time, enabling continuous acquisition of pulsed and modulated signals without interruption. The sensor combines average-mode power measurement with time-selectivity functions, pulse parameter analysis (rise time, fall time, pulse width), and internal zero/automatic calibration to minimize measurement uncertainty. Built-in presets for radar and wireless standards—including DME, GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, WLAN, and LTE—simplify setup for common applications, while broadband coverage accommodates arbitrary modulated signal formats. A variable sampling rate of 1 million samples per second and adjustable aperture duration in average mode provide flexible measurement resolution.
