The Agilent/Keysight V8486A is a diode-based waveguide power sensor engineered for accurate average power measurements across the V-band (50 GHz to 75 GHz). Using Modified Barrier Integrated Diode (MBID) technology, the sensor converts AC voltage to a DC signal proportional to the square of the AC voltage, delivering true-average detection with minimal measurement uncertainty. An excellent SWR of 1.06 (>30 dB return loss) reduces mismatch errors inherent in high-frequency power measurement.
