The Alltest ACW-286 Panel Walk-In chamber (Thermotron WP-286) is a large-capacity environmental test chamber engineered for evaluation of oversized products or substantial quantities of smaller items. The unit delivers precise temperature and humidity control across a broad range of environmental conditions, with workspace dimensions of 62 inches × 85 inches × 94 inches (286 ft³). Single-stage operation spans −34°C to 85°C; cascade refrigeration extends the lower limit to −68°C. Humidity control ranges from 20% to 95% RH with optional extended low-humidity capability down to 5% RH. The chamber features 4-inch urethane insulation, stainless steel or aluminum interior surfaces, and a heavy-duty floor rated for product loads up to 600 lbs/ft². Lightweight modular panel construction with cam-action speed locks ensures rapid assembly and alignment. Embedded steel straps and external banding provide positive sealing. The standard 8800 Controller manages temperature and humidity regulation, with Product Temperature Control (PTC) capability reducing product ramp times by up to 50%. Electronic humidity sensing eliminates wet-bulb dependency. Modular conditioning interface supports flexible configuration across multiple chamber sizes and conditioning modules.
