The Amplifier Research FL8018/Kit is a laser-powered isotropic electric field probe system engineered for EMC radiated immunity testing across automotive, military, and commercial environments. The kit measures continuous wave (CW), amplitude-modulated, and pulsed electric fields from 20 MHz to 18 GHz with a single-range measurement capability of 2–1000 V/m. Fiber-optic power delivery eliminates battery dependency, ensures continuous operation, and provides excellent RF isolation for the control system. The probe features separable X-Y-Z axes with ±0.5 dB isotropic deviation and supports a 2 Msps sample rate. ISO 17025 calibration and correction factors enable automated reading correction when paired with compatible field monitors.
