The Amrel PPS-2322 is a dual-channel programmable DC power supply engineered for benchtop testing, laboratory research, and integration into automatic test equipment (ATE) systems. Each independent channel delivers 0–32V at 0–2A, with combined output capacity of 232 W. The unit supports independent or tracking-mode operation, front-panel keypad control, and GPIB remote programming. Voltage and current settings are fully programmable, with integrated over-voltage protection (OVP) and over-current protection (OCP). Output connections are provided via front-panel binding posts and rear-panel screw terminals; remote-sense terminals enable accurate load regulation. The LCD display and dual control interfaces—local keypad and GPIB—accommodate both manual bench use and automated test sequences. Internal architecture includes an Analog Devices AD7541 12-bit DAC for voltage resolution, 80C31 microprocessor control, and pass-transistor output stage. An internal cooling fan operates continuously during use. The supply occupies 1U of vertical rack space and is configurable for 1/2 rack or 19-inch rack mounting. Operating range spans 0°C to 50°C; airflow requires minimum 1 in. clearance on all sides with intake through sides and exhaust through rear. Calibration in local or remote mode is supported and may require external measurement equipment. Reverse-polarity protection guards against accidental wiring errors.
