The Anritsu MP1550A PDH/SDH Analyzer is a compact, portable instrument for field and laboratory testing of Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) and Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) networks. It delivers simultaneous error and alarm measurements across multiple protocol layers, supporting bit error rate (BER) testing, jitter and wander analysis, pointer evaluation, and performance monitoring per G.821, M.2100, and G.828 standards. The instrument performs both in-service and out-of-service measurements with integrated troubleshooting functions. A large color LCD display provides real-time visibility, while built-in floppy disk storage enables data archiving and firmware updates. An integrated printer generates immediate test records for field documentation and acceptance workflows.
