The Anritsu MU909015A6 is a single-wavelength µOTDR module designed for integration into MT9090A Network Master series mainframes. This 35 dB class OTDR combines optical time-domain reflectometry with integrated Power Meter (PM), PON Power Meter (PON-PM), and Light Source (LS) functions into a single test engine. The module delivers real-time OTDR traces in under 1 second and supports automatic event analysis with user-defined thresholds. Built for field deployment on FTTx, PON, and metro network installations, it provides fault location and fiber characterization without breaking optical connections. Additional capabilities include Visual Fault Locator, Live Fiber Detect, connection quality verification, and Fiber Visualizer mode for operators unfamiliar with traditional OTDR workflows.
