The Astronics/EADS/Racal 1260-22 is a C-size VXIbus high-power switch module delivering 40 SPST channels rated for up to 250 VAC/VDC and 20 A per channel. Designed for automated test systems requiring high-current source switching and routing, the module reconfigures as five 4×1 plus ten 2×1 multiplexer configurations with internal jumper provisions for 1×2 and 1×4 arrangements. Switching time is 300 kHz bandwidth (-3 dB), 50 dB isolation, and <-70 dB crosstalk. Maximum switching power reaches 4800 VA per channel (AC) and 600 W per channel (DC). The module features a 30-pin Positronic connector interface, emergency reset provision, and optional 01T messaging/register-based control with VXIplug&play support for LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI environments. MTBF is 400,255 hours with operating temperature range of 0°C to +55°C.
