The Basler A602f is a monochrome area scan camera engineered for industrial image processing and high-speed inspection applications. Built around a 1/2-inch CMOS global shutter sensor with 656 × 491 pixel resolution, it delivers 100 fps at full resolution in 8-bit mode and maintains 100 fps at VGA resolution. The camera connects via IEEE 1394a FireWire interface with no frame grabber required, enabling direct plug-and-play integration. Programmable gain (0–12 dB) and exposure control (100.0 µs to 68.4 ms) support dynamic scene adaptation. Its compact housing (59.0 × 44 × 29 mm without adapter) and opto-isolated I/O make it suitable for space-constrained and electromagnetically noisy environments.
