The California Instruments 3091LD is a multi-mode AC electronic load designed for precise testing of AC power generation equipment, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and AC sources. It is also suitable for testing active or passive current-carrying devices such as switches, circuit breakers, fuses, connectors, and power semiconductors. The 3091LD can emulate a wide range of AC load conditions, including high crest factor and variable power factor loads, to simulate real-world scenarios and enhance product reliability. It offers flexible solutions for various AC power test applications and can be configured for higher power or three-phase operation by combining a master unit with auxiliary units.

* **Short Circuit (SC):** Provides a short condition to test EUT’s short circuit protection. Max. Surge current: 300 APEAK for up to 50 ms.
