The CORNING SMF-28e+ is an enhanced single-mode optical fiber engineered for high-performance telecommunications in metropolitan and access networks. This 4600 m / 5 km spool delivers full-spectrum transmission across the C, L, and O bands with significantly reduced water-peak attenuation, enabling greater network capacity and flexibility. The fiber maintains backward compatibility with SMF-28® infrastructure while meeting the latest ITU-T G.652.D, IEC 60793-2-50, and Telcordia GR-20 standards.
