The DiCon GP700-16×16 is a programmable fiber optic matrix switch platform engineered for signal routing and optical component testing. This modular instrument integrates multiple fiber optic switches and accessories within a single chassis, enabling flexible configurations for cable testing, remote fault locating, and optical signal distribution. The 16×16 matrix architecture routes signals through passive switch elements without optical-to-electrical conversion, preserving signal integrity across FDDI, SONET, SDH, ATM, and Fiber Channel networks.
