Dranetz-BMI TR-2022 Probe

The Dranetz-BMI TR-2022 is a passive current probe engineered for power monitoring systems and transient signal capture in power quality and electrical troubleshooting applications. It measures RMS currents from 50 A to 1000 A with tiered accuracy: ±1.5% amplitude and phase accuracy across the 50 A to 200 A range, improving to ±0.75% at higher currents. The probe accommodates conductors up to 2.0 inches (50.8 mm) in diameter and delivers frequency response from 45 Hz to 10 kHz, making it suitable for harmonic analysis and power flow measurement across industrial and utility environments.

Transient measurements maintain ±10% of reading or ±0.5% full scale for durations ≥ 10 µSec. Phase accuracy ranges from ±3° at lower currents (10 A to 50 A) to ±0.75° in the upper measurement band. The TR-2022 integrates with the Dranetz PX5 family, Energy Platform (EP1), Encore Series 61000 module 61MAC, PP4300, and 658 instruments. Optional CA4300 adapter cable enables backward compatibility with legacy Dranetz models. Extension cables in TR and PR Series configurations—available in 5 FT, 10 FT, 15 FT, 20 FT, 25 FT, and 30 FT lengths—extend probe reach for applications requiring distance from measurement points.
