EKF CC6-1 3U CompactPCI Super-I/O Board

The EKF CC6-1-ACID is a 3U Super-I/O Expansion Board designed to enhance the input/output capabilities of computer systems. This board utilizes the LPC interface to communicate with the host CPU, emulating legacy I/O interfaces such as serial, parallel, and PS/2 ports. It also features a floppy disk controller and, optionally, MIDI and joystick attachments, as well as fan control lines. The board can provide access to the host’s ATA/IDE interface. The CC6-1-ACID is designed for use within CompactPCI systems, with compatible host CPU boards including the CC2-TANGO, CC5-RAVE, CC7-JAZZ, and CC8-BLUES. The connectors for COM1, COM2, LPT, PS/2 keyboard, and mouse are accessible from the front panel. An optional 2.5-inch hard disk drive can be integrated for rugged environments. The EKF CC6-3-ACID variant features a narrower 4HP front panel and shares the Mini-Din connector for mouse and keyboard via an external splitter cable.
