The Emerson/Motorola MVME162-223 is a double-high VME embedded controller built around the Motorola MC68040 microprocessor operating at 25 MHz. It integrates an on-board Floating-Point Unit (FPU) and Memory Management Unit (MMU) for demanding real-time control, data acquisition, and communication tasks in industrial environments. The module delivers master/slave VMEbus functionality with system controller capability and local bus-to-VMEbus DMA support.
