The Emerson/Motorola MVME162PA-252SE is a double-high VME embedded controller engineered for demanding industrial real-time control, data acquisition, and communication tasks. Built on a robust VMEbus architecture, it delivers master/slave functionality with flexible address and data bus configurations. The board accommodates either an MC68LC040 microprocessor or an MC68040 with integrated floating-point coprocessor, both operating at 25 MHz. Configurable memory options range from 1 MB to 32 MB of DRAM with parity or ECC protection, supplemented by 512 KB of battery-backed SRAM and 8K x 8 NVRAM.
