The Emerson/Motorola PMCSPAN1-002 is a single-slot 6U VMEbus carrier board that bridges PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) modules to VME-based processing systems. It expands VME system I/O and processing capacity by hosting up to two single-wide or one double-wide PMC module per board. The carrier incorporates a PLX6150 (or DEC 21150 variant) PCI-to-PCI bridge with dual 32-bit interfaces operating at 33 MHz, 5V signaling. Multiple PMCspan boards stack onto a host processor to reach four single-wide PMC slots total. Front panel and P2 I/O access accommodate customer-supplied PMC payloads. Manufactured with 94V-0 flame-rated PWBs and VME Scanbe front panel handles.
