The EXFO AXS-360-QUAD is a handheld fiber certification tester engineered for single-mode and multimode fiber optic network deployment and maintenance. It integrates a quad-wavelength light source and power meter to deliver automatic optical loss measurements, pass/fail analysis against industry standards, and physical layer testing up to 10 Gbit/s. The instrument operates across four wavelengths—850 nm and 1300 nm for multimode, 1310 nm and 1550 nm for single-mode—with optional support for 1490 nm or 1625 nm configurations.
