The instrument combines local control with networked operation via addressable RS 232C serial interface (50 to 19,200 bits/sec, up to 30 devices per port) and optional IEEE 488 interface for full remote function control. Built-in overvoltage, overcurrent, and over-temperature protection with adjustable delayed shutdown (0.00 to 99.99 sec) safeguard connected loads. Dual 4-place multifunction displays show voltage, current, and power measurements in real time. Menu-driven configuration handles range limiting, protection thresholds, and digital I/O parameters. The unit stores up to 243 settings for individual or sequential recall. Analog interfaces provide monitor outputs, auxiliary power, programmable signal paths, and trigger/setpoint inputs capable of superimposing AC signals in the kHz range.
